The SRC Living Legacy Foundation is an independent non-profit (IRS
501(c)(3) tax exempt) corporation, run by residents of SRC primarily
to benefit of SRC employees and their children by awarding them
educational grants.
It was founded by the Saratoga Retirement Community Residents'
Association as the SRC Living Legacy Fund in 2008, and has been
supporting SRC staff and their children by providing education
grants ever since. It was incorporated as a non-profit public
benefit corporation under California law and its name changed to SRC
Living Legacy Foundation in September 2019.
Our logo
We call our logo Circles of caring. As SRC residents we can
look back on fulfilling and enjoyable lives, thanks to the education
we were fortunate to receive many years ago. We are being very well
cared for by the SRC staff, and feel a large debt of gratitude. We
are very aware that some of the staff and even more of their
children are also seeking to improve their education. However, in
many cases they are facing significant financial challenges, so the
least we can do for them is to provide education grants. In this
way, we create a circle of caring: the staff care for us, and we in
turn care for them.
The SRC Living Legacy Foundation is a tax-exempt charity under the
IRS 501(c)(3) tax exempt umbrella. Its tax ID is #84-3432820
